Cookie Policy
What we store on your device, why, and how to change it.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. Some are required for a site to function; others are optional.
2. What we use
| Type | Purpose | Lifetime | Optional? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeping you signed in, session handling, security and fraud prevention | Session to 30 days | No — the app cannot run without them |
| Preferences | Your reminder settings, chosen habits and interface choices | Up to 12 months | Yes |
| Analytics | Aggregated, de-identified counts of feature use and errors | Up to 13 months | Yes |
We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, no third party is allowed to set cookies here for its own advertising, and nothing you log in the app is used to target ads at you.
3. Your choices
We ask for consent before setting optional cookies — they stay off until you accept the dialog shown on your first visit, and your choice is remembered on this device. Your browser can also block or delete cookies and site data — blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you signing in.
Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all keep these controls under their privacy settings.
4. Third parties
Our hosting and payment providers may set strictly necessary cookies to do their part of the job (fraud checks at checkout, for instance). They act as our processors and may not use the data for their own marketing.
5. Changes and contact
We update this page when our cookie use changes. Questions: [email protected]. See also the Privacy Policy.
